Summer is really starting to kick in down at Waipipi Beach. We've had plenty of blue sky days, some great boating conditions - watch the video of the team catching 18lb snapper, and settled weather.

If you want to move in and make the most of the fishing and summer right away we have a brand new 3 bedroom house with double garage ready to go. Asking price $225,000. Ocean views and beach living does not get better  that this!

A New Sculpture...
Wednesday, 23 March 2011 08:59

driftwood sculpture ball waipipi beach

We have been working away trying to develop the Waipipi Beach subdivision. Our latest addition is a 2 metre high 400kg driftwood ball. It sits just inside the security gate as you drive into the beach development. We built it using driftwood collected from Waipipi beach at low tide from under the cliffs. It has received plenty of comments from people driving into the development, and owners coming down to their new beach sections. There are plans for a 3.5 metre ball, but in the meantime we are working on a driftwood cow to sit at the entrance to the farm at the Taranaki end of the sub division. Cow photos to come!

Kitesurfing on the lake
Friday, 18 March 2011 19:49

For the first time in a 3 or 4 weeks we have had a 20 breeze! This meant that yesterday we got the 8m kites out. The private lake - only 1 km from your beach house is ideally suited to kiting. With runs of 150 meters its always super smooth,  making it ideal for practing unhooked handle passes! We looking forward to a few more sessions before Easter.

Open Day Success
Wednesday, 16 March 2011 09:52

We've just had another successful weekend down at Waipipi Beach over the Taranaki Anniversary Weekend. The weather was warm and the sea calm for the 3 days. Plenty of Snapper and Blue Cod were caught. We had a number of people in over the weekend, plenty taking the time to walk across the subdivision and find the 'perfect' site to build their dream beach house.

This shot was of the Ford Enthusiast club from Taranaki when they called through.

All sections offer elevated ocean views - even those towards the back of the development (priced from $95,000). If you were unable to make it over the weekend, but would like to have a look around, please give us a call on (06) 3465329 or email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. More Crayfish at Waipipi Beach 3.2kg!
Friday, 11 March 2011 11:03

Once again smooth conditions let us get out for a dive yesterday morning. As the photos would suggest, not a bad way to start the day! This one weighs 3.2kgs. We had the waterproof camera down there with us as well. Hopefully I'll get some footage of that up shortly.

The weather is looking good for the Open Weekend over Taranaki Anniversary. We'll be down there from 10am to 4pm all weekend and Monday. You're welcome to come and have a look around! The tide is full mid afternoon, so the snapper fishing should be good off the rock. Hopefully we can find you a section that the family likes to build your beach holiday home. The Snapper and Blue Cod are calling.

If you're headed to the Waverely Races, the subdivsion is signposted from the Taranaki side of the racetrack (down Ihupuku rd - 500m before the racecourse) and from opposite the primary school if you are coming from Wanganui.

Hope to see you over the weekend.

Summers Arrived
Thursday, 04 November 2010 00:00

It’s early November and after some serious rain summer has finally arrived! With temperatures reaching low to mid 20’s a fishing trip was in order. We put the inflatable in straight off the beach and headed out into the Deep water (about 4 or 5 miles) for some Blue Cod. 3 hours later Calv and Ted had enough to feed the family, and a good dose of sunburn to go with.
